Martin Gardner Reiffin appeals the decision of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, granting summary judgment that United States Patents Nos. 5,694,603 and 5,694,604 are invalid for failure to meet the "written description" requirement of 35 U.S.C. §112, first paragraph. We conclude that the district court erred in application of the statute. The summary judgment is reversed, and the case is remanded for further proceedings.
